Roots and Future is a youth development project designed to give young people structured activities, practical skills, and trusted adult support while building clearer pathways into confidence and leadership.

Information
These projects were designed by Margaret Taribo and are licensed to ParentSkills2Go for delivery, partnership, and community impact.
The project creates meaningful after-school opportunities that help young people grow in creativity, confidence, social connection, and practical ability. It is shaped around safe spaces and sustained engagement, not one-off activity.
Programme activity includes photography and social media, fashion and wearable technology, homework support, and sports. These sessions are designed to develop both skill and belonging.
Roots and Future also includes a leadership development strand for older young people aged 15 to 18, helping them grow into co-delivery, facilitation, and peer leadership roles within the wider community.
